About PriceTheHaul
PriceTheHaul is a quoting app for owner-operators who haul RVs, hotshot loads, cars, boats and trailers for their own customers. It started because one transporter needed an easier way to quote a job.
The price gets decided on the phone.
A customer calls and asks what it will cost to move their fifth wheel or travel trailer. The honest answer takes a map, a calculator and some guessing: how far to the pickup, how far home, what diesel costs this week, whether the haul is one day or two. The customer is waiting, so the transporter either rounds a number on the spot or promises to call back.
That is where transport businesses quietly lose money: the deadhead out to the pickup that never made it into the price, and the short haul that looked fine per mile and took the whole day.
A quoting calculator that counted the whole job.
So a quoting calculator was built for one RV transport business, to price every haul the same careful way: loaded miles, deadhead from home base, fuel, drive time, hotels, extras, and a minimum charge under every job.
After more than 100 transport jobs, that calculator had become indispensable: reliable, and as quick as quoting can be.
PriceTheHaul runs on your numbers.
PriceTheHaul is that calculator, rebuilt so any transporter can use their own rates and their own home base. PriceTheHaul doesn't tell you what to charge; your rates are yours. PriceTheHaul does the arithmetic while the customer is still on the phone, not after you get home.
What PriceTheHaul is not
PriceTheHaul isn't a load board, a dispatch system, a broker, or a place to store documents. PriceTheHaul doesn't take a cut of your work and doesn't sit between you and your customer. PriceTheHaul is a quoting tool, built to be the fastest one you've used.
How we work
- Quotes are estimates. PriceTheHaul counts everything; you decide the price.
- Your rates, quotes and customers are yours. We don't sell them, and they never go to advertisers.
- The free plan is the real thing. Everything PriceTheHaul does is on the free plan. Only the number of quotes is limited.
- A person answers. Questions go to a real inbox, and a real person replies.
